Director Shoojit Sircar has done it again. It’s been more than ten days since the release of Sardar Udham Singh on Amazon Prime and the film is still on the top of the charts. This biopic, based on the life of the revolutionary, Sardar Udham Singh shows by far one of the best use of colours on screen ever s. It's the perfect blend of colours with the emotions of the movie as well as the era of the story.

The slow pace of the film is heavy with an intense aura and tragedy from the past portrayed by stunning performances by Vicky Kaushal. The film is an exemplary representation of bringing real stories into the reel and turning them into extraordinary films. Not to miss out on the brilliant use of makeup and set that carries the audience back to the pre-independence era and makes something stir in your heart in remembrance for the lives lost for a great cause. It brings out the intricate sides of human emotions and past events that not many know of. In the small moments of happiness, the blues of the screen changes to warmer colours that immediately shift the mood along with the story.
Like every other Shoojit Sircar movie, it's a play of acting that explains the emotions without even needing dialogues to do so. This film is a tribute to the socio-political events and all the lives of people involved in them that have carved the pages of history and played major roles in bringing the country to where we are today. It has long-lasting effects on the mind of the audience and has also made its own place in the history of extraordinary cinemas of India.

A brilliant heartbreaking film with a brilliant performance. It's a 9/10 film in my opinion.
